હિંગ (ASAFOETIDA)

દરેક ભારતીય ના રસોડામાં હિંગ તો હોયજ.શુધ્ધ હિંગ ખુબ જ મોંગી હોયછે. તેથી તે શુદ્ધ માંડવી પણ મુશ્કેલ છે.હિંગને સસ્તી વેચવા માટે વેપારીઓ તેમાં ભેળશેળ કરેછે.હિંગ વાયુ નું શમન કરે છે. તેથી ત્તેનો ઉપ્યોગઉપયોગ દાળ નો વઘાર કરવામાં તથા વિવિધ દાળ ના પલાળ બનાવવામાં  થાય છે.

ગુણધર્મ ;

હિંગ તીખી ,પિત્તકર પાચક રુચિકર, તિક્ષણ, વાત,કફ,પેટનું શૂળ , વાયુ, આફ્રો મટાડનાર કૃમિ નાશક છે.

હિંગના  દવા તરીકે ના ઉપયોગ જોઈએ તો;

1) વારંવાર થતો પેટનો વાયુ તથા અજીર્ણ ની તકલીફ દૂર કરવા બહુ ઠોલી હિંગ ગોળતથા ઘી  સાથે મિલાવી નાની ચણા ના દાણા  જેટલી ગોળી બનાવી સવાર-સાંજ જમ્યા પછે. ખાવાથી વાયુ તથા અજીર્ણની  તકલીફ માટે છે.

2) સામાન્ય તાવ માં થોડી માત્રામાં  હિંગ તથા ઘી નું મિશ્રણ કરી ખાવું.

3) ચક્કર આવતા હોય તો હિંગ ને ઘી માં શેકી ને ખવરાવવી 

4) સ્ત્રી ને પ્રસુતિ બાદ ગર્ભાશય નું બરોબર સંકોચન થાય તે માટે પાણી સાથે હિંગ પાવતી કે જેથી વાયુ દોષ ન        રહે.

5) ઉલટી  બંધ ન થતી હોય તો ગીંગ ને પાણીમાં મેળવી ને પેટ પાર તેનો લેપ કરવો 

6) આધાશીશી ની તકલીફ માં પનોમાં થોડી હિંગ મેળવી ને તેના ટીપા નાકમાં નાખવા.

7)  દાંત  નો દુખાવો થાય તો હિંગને પાણીમાં ઉકાળી  ને તેના કોગળા કરવાથી દાંત ના દુખાવા માં રાહત રહે છે.

8) હિંગ અને કડવા લીંબડાના પાનને વાટીને તેનો લેપ જખમ પાર લગાવવાથી જખમ માં પડેલા કીડા મારી જાય છે.આજે જખમ જલ્દી ભરાય છે.

ASAFOETIDA

Every Indian has asafoetida in their kitchen. Pure asafoetida is very expensive. Therefore, it is also difficult to purify it. Traders mix hing to sell it cheaply . Hing alleviates flatulence. Therefore, it is used in raising lentils and in making various lentils.

Properties;

Asafoetida is a spicy, biliary digestive delicacy, sharp, gastric, cough, colic, flatulence, aphrodisiac.

Hing should not be used as medicine;

1) To get rid of frequent flatulence and indigestion, mix a small amount of asafoetida with ghee and make a pill like small chickpea seeds and take in the morning and evening after meal. Eating is for flatulence and indigestion.

2) In general fever, mix a small amount of asafoetida and ghee.

3) If you feel dizzy, fry hing in ghee and take it.

4) A woman should take hing with water so that the uterus contracts properly after childbirth so that there is no air impurity.

5) If vomiting does not stop, get Ging in water and apply it across the abdomen.

6) In case of migraine, get some hing in the leaves and put its drops in the nose.

7) In case of toothache, boil hing in water and rinse it to relieve toothache.

8) To heal the wound quickly and kill the germs in it then apply asafoetida and bitter lemon leaves by grinding it into a paste form.
